My sister gifted me two napkin rings modeled after my wedding band.
A romantic reminder in our home and a chic touch on any table.

I’m envisioning this table for brunch the morning after a wonderful Christmas party —bed-headed friends yawning, coffee brewing, cozy flannel linens lightly rumpled and a touch of gold making everyone glow.
Pancakes, please!
Thanks to the fashionistas of Born & Bread for their inspiring, casual glam holiday look.

P.S. We’re launching a new series here at A & O on Thursday and we’re thrilled to announce that our first entry will feature comedian Tom Riles from Life of Dad. Make sure to stop by!
When we started The Look, we thought of it as a place to share with you the non-food images that inspired us in our cooking and entertaining. We were thinking of fashion, street fashion, art, flowers and design, etc.
We never thought of little ones.
But what could me more inspiring or beautiful than our littlest readers baking our banana bread?
Thanks to banana-loving Josie and Lily, experienced bakers at barely three years of age, and their Mama Mariah for giving our recipe a whirl and reporting back that it tastes delicious even without the pecans.
Don’t you love that they each have their own Look?

Am I alone in thinking that eating off an eye is creepier than eating off a snake? Gives me the willies.
