Sarah & Lydia on the job
Sarah and I are always trying to find a way to look presentable at work which is a real challenge in the kitchen. We need to wear flexible, comfortable cloths that cover most of our skin to avoid burns. We need to wear washable fabrics as our shirts will get spattered inĀ tomato sauce but we must still look professional when encountering clients during the day. Unsurprisingly it’s classic wardrobe staples that we seem to reach for every morning.
Shirts:
Raulph Lauren Slim Fit Oxfords
or
St. James Striped Shirt
Pants:
wide leg J. Brand jeans
Wide leg jeans in a dark wash look dressy and crisp, and they hang perfectly over our clogs
or
J. Brand black skinny jeans
Black skinny jeans always look nice and we love a comfortable high waist so you don’t spend half the day tugging up your pants!
Shoes:
on our way to and from work…
Repetto Black Ballet Flats
or
Minnetonka Moccasins
and while cooking we slip into our trusty Dansko clogs

And my new favorite find for a long day at work is this Josie Maran lip and cheek stain. It’s matte so it doesn’t look too done up and it lasts for hours. I dab this on my lips and cheeks for instant pretty.

or
Clinique Black Honey Lip Gloss
Sarah’s go to gloss for a quick touch up!
