Colored Serving Spoon Handles

Wouldn’t this be a great gift? Dip some pretty wooden serving spoons into non-toxic colored paint. Maybe a whole set for friend’s wedding shower or just a pair for Mom on Mother’s Day. The ultimate in chic hostess gifts if you ask me.

Ok, even if you are not a “place mat” person these Mattie Luxe custom creations might change your mind.

Mattie Luxe Place Mats

Sarah and I had SUPER cute custom place mats made by Mattie Luxe last year as a wedding gift for a dear couple. We designed the mats to match the palette and architecture of their home and they turned out so well. You choose the color, theme, monogram/name and all the details of your design online and then they print and mail you the place mats within a week. Nice quality thick paper place mats with the design on both sides and laminated to stand many, many years of casual meals. You can also have your design made into a lucite tray!

I think they’re a great gift for a housewarming party or a baby shower. Or as a thank you gift when staying with friends for a weekend. Or for the person you know who has everything…

Best Little Kitchen Gift Ever

by

By Sarah Lagrotteria

My Aunt Gigi gave me these mini prep bowls for Christmas last year.  They’re so pretty I keep them out on the counter.  Friends can’t resist grabbing them and asking, “where did you get these?”

Martha mini prep bowls

I keep them in a stack with the top one (in my kitchen that’s the pale pale mint, second from bottom here) filled with Maldon sea salt.  If you buy them, I swear that you’ll love and use them constantly.  I think I may have even chosen my wall colors  around these little guys…oh, Martha…
