Did you tune into HBO’s The Weight of a Nation last night? I did and learned A LOT. The second half is on tonight. Watch it and be inspired to get involved in changing the future of our nation’s health.

Hi! I’m a long time reader and really enjoy your blog. I do, however, have a different opinion on the Weight of the Nation Documentary Series, which can be summed up in this blog post: http://healthateverysizeblog.org/2012/05/10/the-haes-files-top-10-reasons-to-be-concerned-about-the-weight-of-the-nation-documentary/
As with most documentary films, there is another side to the story. I was introduced to that other side (Health at Every Size) when I began my work with individuals struggling with disordered eating. I am not trying to convince you of anything, but just thought it was important to give you and your readers more information to form your own opinions about the topic of overweight and obesity.
Thanks!

Hi Simone, thank you for reading A&O and for sharing another side of the conversation about Obesity in our Nation. I appreciate learning more about the “other side of the story.” One fact that everyone can agree on is that we need to focus on healthy eating and healthy recipes! xo, LEH
