Happy Monday, my dears!

What are your summer reads?  I’m loving Gone Girl.  Read the review here.

I may also grab this on my flight back from Chicago.  I missed it when it was all the rage a long while ago, but the cover always tempts me at airport book stores.

What are you reading?

xx

P.S. we’ll be posting snaps from our 4ths, but otherwise we’ll see you next week.  Wishing you a wonderful, safe holiday full of fruit pies and sparklers.

Everyone MUST READ……… BOSSYPANTS by Tina Fey!

With Nora Ephron gone, Tina Fey could be the new voice………and it is time for her kind feminism to be heard! She rocks!

Perfect for a flight read………it captivated me from San Francisco to Chicago.

Thanks for sharing! I just finished The Language of Flowers by Vanessa Diffenbaugh. Besides being a powerful portrayal of the human spirit, now I am constantly thinking about what my Farmer’s Market floral selections mean! “A rose is a rose is a rose.” Or is it?

I would also highly suggest picking up The Marriage Plot by Jeffrey Eugenides and Tinkers by Paul Harding. BTW those last two have the Pulitzer stamp of approval!

    Happy Reading!
