Happy Fourth, my dears!

What are your plans?

Lydia is recovering from a beautiful wedding in Santa Barbara and Angus and I are off to lay by the pool at my aunt and uncle’s house.  When we were little, my aunt would always make this flag cake, which the kids in my family revered as the most amazing thing ever.  I hope she makes it today.
